Paramount Plus beloved reboot canceled after just three seasons, actress announces - and fans are he

THE iCarly reboot has been iCanceled after three seasons on Paramount+.

Series star Laci Mosley revealed the news online, and it was soon confirmed by a network spokesperson.

Laci, who plays former socialite-turned-barista Harper in the reboot of the beloved Nickelodeon series, broke the news on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

"It’s canceled babes," she stated simply, after one fan wondered about a Season 4.

Laci continued: "Not a joke. The best people I’ve ever worked with in the business."

She added a personal note to fans of the show.

Shortly after Laci shared the news, a spokesperson confirmed it.

"The series had a great three-season run and delivered on what fans really wanted to see with Carly and Freddie finally getting together," the Paramount+ spokesperson told Deadline

"We want to thank the entire cast, the writers, directors and producers along with the whole crew for their dedication, creativity and talent."

iCarly originally starred Miranda Cosgrove in the title role as an online influencer.

The revival picked up nearly 10 years after the Nickelodeon run ended.

Fans were shocked by the news.

"After that cliffhanger??? It makes no sense I’m so heartbroken!!" one person exclaimed.

Another added: "Not getting to see a potential Carly and Freddie wedding and not being able to see Carly and Spencer interact with their mom who has been absent most of their lives is criminal. I’m pressed."

A third lamented: "Now that they have canceled it, how am I supposed to know who Carly’s mom is??"

iCarly first premiered on Nickelodeon in 2007.

The series was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Program five times.

The beloved children's program aired for six seasons on Nickelodeon.

The final season began on March 24, 2012 with a total of 15 episodes produced.
