SEVILLA claim the only way to stop Alexis Sanchez is to “kill him”.

Sanchez makes his Champions League debut for Manchester United tonight following his January transfer from Arsenal.

Sevilla’s Italian boss Vincenzo Montella lit the fuse for this last-16, first-leg tie when he said: “How do we stop Sanchez?

"Maybe we can kill him or knock him down or something. I remember him really well from his stay in Italy.

“He has improved his style a lot during his career and I think he can be a really good player in transition.

“They have really good speed in attack.”

Montella is managing only his second match in the Champions League, having taken charge of Sevilla in December.

By contrast, it will be the 134th game in the competition for United boss Jose Mourinho, a two-time winner.
